Few songwriters and music producers have established their names in the industry as Keith Thomas. His talents have brought him acclaim and awards in multiple genres, earning Keith multiple Grammy awards with over 20 nominations in categories such as Producer Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year, and Album Of The Year. So far, his career has garnered over 40 #1 singles, in multiple genres such as Pop, CCM, Gospel, R&B, AC, generating album sales in excess of 30 million. Keith’s writing and recording collaborations span a wide variety of artists & writers including Whitney Houston, Heather Headley, Jessica Simpson, Luther Vandross, Amy Grant, Bebe & Cece Winans, 98°, Vanessa Williams, Brian McKnight, Mandy Moore, Claude Kelly, Liz Rose, Marcus Hummon, Amy Foster, Chris Mann, Danny Gokey and many others.
After a three year hiatus at the turn of the millennium, in 2005 Keith formed Levosia Entertainment, with an emphasis on developing young undiscovered talent. His initial discovery, Jordan Pruitt, he signed with Hollywood Records, and in conjunction with the release of her debut album, No Ordinary Girl, Jordan opened for numerous Disney sponsored concert tours, including High School Musical: The Concert, The Cheetah Girls and Demo Lovato.
Keith next became aware of a young YouTube sensation, Savannah Outen. Her three singles released to Radio Disney, Goodbyes, If You Only Knew and Fighting For My Life, received unprecedented airplay for an independent label artist, twice beating out The Jonas Brothers and The High School Musical for the Dot Com Top 3 #1 position. Under Keith’s watch, Savannah’s YouTube fan response grew to 75 million YouTube views with 250,000 subscribers.
Currently, Keith is directing the development of Levosia Entertainment’s most recent signing, Celica Westbrook, a teenage pop-prodigy whose vocals rival even the most established singeårs of the world. In 2012 Keith produced the Grammy nominated band, forever JONES’ new album, Musical Revival released April 10th 2012 on EMI Records. Keith also produced and co-wrote with Tony/Grammy award winning artist Heather Headley in conjunction with her lead role in the stage adaptation of The Body Guard, which opened in the UK, November of 2012. The Whitney Houston tribute moves from the UK to Broadway in 2013.
Keith also produced the title track and three additional songs for The Voice finalist, Chris Mann’s debut CD, Roads on Universal Repbulic. Chris also delivered a stellar performance on his first PBS, which aired March of 2012.
In early 2013 Keith was asked to participate in a new docu-series on Lifetime, which follows seven aspriing artists from West Virginia, Kentucky and North Carolina. Given Keith’s track record for identifying and devleoping talent, this was a natural fit. Keith takes on the task of mentoring and developing four teens through the process of preparing for a major label showcase. Keith is also producing and co-writing songs for the forthcoming soundtrack.
